This day embarks the beginning of your five-day vacation to the picturesque islands of Andaman. On your arrival at the Veer Savarkar Airport, our representative will escort you to your hotel. Visit The Cellular Jail (Closed on Mondays), popularly known as the pilgrim destinations for freedom fighters. Take a tour of the jail where once freedom fighters had to face atrocities. End the tour with the Sound and Light show depicting the life of freedom fighters that fought for India’s independence. The hills in the backdrop and light breeze from the Bay of Bengal encounter you while you’re taking a walk on exotic streets; seems like a dream? Experience all of this at the strikingly spotless and sparingly peopled Marine Drive. Retire to your hotel. Stay the night at Port Blair.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and see the exciting day unfold. Get your sailor hat on and take the cruise to Havelock Island for a day filled with adventure. A peaceful tropical island known for its golden beaches and watersports has made it to the list of many must-visit sites. Visit the famous Radha Nagar beach; Beach No. 7, which is rated as the finest beach in Asia. Away from the cluster, it is calmingly unpopulated with lush green hills on one side and the white sand beach with its turquoise water on the other; the beach is ever so inviting. Head to your hotel, and rest for the night at Havelock.
An appetizing breakfast is all you need before you begin your adventurous day. Indulge in Scuba Diving at Havelock before you take the cruise to Port Blair. Visit Chatham Saw Mill located on the Chatham Islands built by the British in 1883; it gives a great insight into the history of the Andaman. While you’re there, don’t forget the bomb crater left behind by the Japanese Ordnance in World War II. Your next tour will be to the Samudrika Naval Maritime Museum that best exhibits the anthropology, geography, history and the exotic marine life of the island. The Anthropological Museum will be another pit stop. Get a peek into the lives of the local tribes called Mongoloid and Negroid. After the long day, get some rest at your hotel.
Rise to an exciting day ahead of you. Start with a delicious breakfast at your hotel and head to experience the Under water Coral Safari, its a semi submarine which will take you into the deep sea in a most comfortable 100 seater cabin, fully air conditioned. When you watch the unbelievable under sea world through the large glass windows inclined at 45 degrees, it will give you a spine thrilling experience. People of all ages can comfortably enter and exit the vessel. its once in a life time experience which allows you to see the most exciting, magnificent deep sea world which will mesmerize you and take your into a heaven on earth experience. Thereafter, proceed for Ross Island. Once where the administrative headquarters of the British capital of these islands now is under the Indian Navy and stands as a relic from times gone by. Visit the museum, called Smritika that holds pictures and artifacts from the British era significant to these islands. After a scrumptious dinner, head to the hotel before you head.
